KN95 is the GB2626-2006 standard for respiratory protective equipment promulgated by the National Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine Bureau and the National Standardization Management Committee, and is not a specific product name. As long as it meets the KN95 standard, and can pass through the respiratory protective equipment GB2626-2006 standard, it can be called "KN95 mask".

In the GB2626-2006 standard, KN95 is the standard for dust protection, which is cheap and easy to be adopted by the relevant dust industry. N95 masks are used for occupational respiratory protection, including certain dust particles (such as dust, smoke and other non-oily particulate protection).

The biggest feature of the KN95 mask is that it can prevent the spread of droplets caused by patients' body fluids or blood splashes. Medical personnel exposed to tuberculosis bacteria should wear masks above the N95 standard
